Ms. Sandra Willard Cheek Smith of Roswell and Mr. David Conde Cheek and Mrs. Danielle Sadler Cheek of Cumming announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Danielle Nichole Cheek to Christopher Allen Rariden.

He is the son of Ms. Brenda Mercer Rariden of Miami, Fla., formerly of Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada and Mr. Robert Edgar Rariden of North Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Mooresville, Ind.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dorothy L. Willard and the late Mr. Henry M. Willard and Mrs. Madelyn R. Cheek and the late Mr. Conde Cheek, all of Cumming.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mrs. Phyllis S. Mercer and the late Mr. Melvin R. Mercer of Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada and the late Mrs. Barbara J. Rariden and the late Mr. Vernon Rariden of Mooresville, Ind.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Forsyth Central High School and will be graduating from the The Esani Institute Paul Mitchell Partner School in September 2010 with her degree in master cosmetology.

The groom-elect is a 2000 graduate of ACE Academy High School in Coral Gables, Fla. with an understudy in criminal justice from Miami Dade College.

After working with Millers Ale House since 2002, he is now a member of the management team at Studio Movie Grill in Roswell.

The wedding ceremony is planned for October 2010.
