Johnny and Pam Young of Dawsonville announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kristen Patricia Young, of Dawsonville, to Ryan Andrew Seay.

He is the son of Todd and Michele Seay of Dawsonville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Betty Rice and the late Robert Rice of Dawsonville, Larry and Rebecca Young and the late Patricia Young, all of Gainesville.

She is a 2004 graduate of Dawson County High School. She is employed as an accounts payable coordinator with Production Solutions in Dawsonville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Donnie and Brenda Seay of Dawsonville, Billy and Sandie Freeland of Austell and the late Teresa Freeland of Dahlonega.

He is a 2004 graduate of Dawson County High School. He attended North Georgia College & State University, where he was a member of the Saints baseball team.

He is employed with Victory Processing in Gainesville.

A wedding is planned at 5 p.m. July 12, 2014 at Indigo Falls in Dallas, Ga.
