Kayla Reece and Travis Reeves were united in marriage Sept. 22, 2012.

The ceremony took place overlooking the ocean at sunset in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The bride is the daughter of Sandy and Kim Reece of Dawsonville.

She is the granddaughter of Mitchell and Linda Rider of Dahlonega and the late Jeff and Kathleen Reece of Dawsonville.

The groom is the son of Jill Reeves of Dawsonville and Terry Reeves of Cumming.

He is the grandson of Judy Cox and the late Mayor Joe Lane Cox and Martha Reeves and the late Jimmy Reeves, all of Dawsonville.

Matron of Honor was Nicole Odom, sister of the bride.

The best man was the groom's father, Terry.

Bridesmaids were Leslie Reeves and Alana Harben.

Flower girls were Angelina Ledford, Addie Odom and Ava Harben.

Groomsmen were Adam Harben, Nathan Ledford, Russ Odom and Andy Myers.

Junior groomsman was Reece Odom. Elijah Odom served as ring bearer.

A reception with dinner was served following the ceremony at the Together Forever Wedding Reception Hall in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The couple enjoyed their honeymoon at the beach before returning home to Cumming.

A barbecue reception was held Oct. 6 for all family and friends that were unable to attend the wedding.
