A dental practice that has built a reputation on individual needs and comprehensive care for nearly two decades in neighboring Forsyth County has expanded its services in Dawsonville.
Forsyth Dental Partners opened its second location April 3 at 2390 Thompson Road, Suite 200.
Dr. Leslie M. McGuinn said she looks forward to continuing to serve the Dawsonville community.
"The practice has served many Dawson County residents prior to opening here," she said. "Dawsonville is a growing area that we saw needed another dentist to serve the community's dental care needs."
The primary office has been located for 19 years at 312 Tribble Gap Road in Cumming. Drs. Brian R. Carpenter, Michael D. Palmer and Melissa Thomas Durand continue to see patients there.
A 2001 University of Georgia graduate with a bachelor's of science degree in psychology, McGuinn went on to gain her doctorate of dental medicine in 2007 from the University of Louisville.
She followed the career path of her father, Dr. Robert McGuinn, one of Forsyth County's first dentists.
Forsyth Dental Partners provides quality dental care for children, teenagers and adults.
The Dawsonville office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
