Longtime board of education member Cecil Bennett made a motion Monday night to adjourn the last meeting of 2014. 

Not normally the most notable moment of a meeting, but it also happens to be Bennett’s last. He is retiring after 25 years of service to the Dawson County Board of Education. “I’ve enjoyed it,” Bennett said of his time. “I’ve seen a lot we’ve accomplished.”
