A three-vehicle accident blocked the intersection of Ga. 400 and Dawson Forest Road Monday afternoon.

According to Darius Goss of the Georgia State Patrol, one vehicle was going northbound on 400, and two were turning onto the interstate.

One vehicle ran the red light, he said.

The incident occurred at approximately 3 p.m., Jan. 30.

Goss confirmed that there was one injury.

Following the 3 p.m. incident, another accident occurred at the intersection of Ga. 400 and Hwy. 53, in front of the McDonalds, at approximately 3:52 p.m.

Two cars were traveling southbound on 400. According to the GSP, one vehicle crossed the center line for unknown reasons, and sideswiped the side of the second vehicle with its front bumper.

No injuries occurred at the second incident.
