Winfred Dave Pass, 57, of Dawsonville passed away Monday May 20, 2013 at his residence following a sudden illness.
Born May 23, 1955, Mr. Pass had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past five years after spending most of his life in Buford, GA. A U.S. Army veteran, he had worked at the General Motors plant in Doraville with his father in the 1970s and also worked as a heavy equipment operator for over 25 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Winfred Othell Pass, Sr., and grandparents, Willie and Voytell Pass.
Surviving are a son and daughter in law, Scott and Tina Pass, Dawsonville; daughters and sons in law, Debbie and Mitchell Sams, Dawsonville, Amanda Michele and William Smith, Dahlonega; mother, Margaret Holden Farr, Bishop, GA; sisters and brothers in law, Melinda and Gene Chatham, Dacula, Sherri and David Baker, Monroe, Victoria Farr and Lanie Silba, Monroe; brothers and sister in law, Dwayne Pass, Buford, Frank and Angela Farr, Bishop; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Friday May 24, 2013 at Bearden Funeral Home from 6 until 8 concluding with a prayer service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to help offset final expenses.
