Woman identified as victim in fatal north Forsyth wreck

A Forsyth County woman with a Dawsonville address was killed in a head-on collision in north Forsyth on Wednesday morning. Barbara Morgan Fowler, 71, of Dawsonville was killed after a 2001 Toyota Sequoia traveling east on Jot Em Down Road allegedly crossed over the center line and struck her Honda CRV traveling west on the road, according to Cpl. Doug Rainwater of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. Rainwater said that the force of impact from the collision took the vehicles off the roadway and into a nearby yard.
