A gas leak has been reported at the North Georgia Premium Outlets in Dawson County.

According to Dawson County Fire Chief Danny Thompson, the leak was reported early this afternoon and work is currently underway to stop it.

Thompson said that the outlet mall’s parking lot near the Nike store has been closed while the leak is contained. 

Stores at the outlets are still open, Thompson said.
