KARE for Kids will begin accepting applications for assistance for the 2018 Christmas season on Nov. 3. Applications will be accepted at the KARE for Kids office at 66 Hwy. 53 West in Dawsonville. In order to qualify for assistance, applicants must meet all of the following requirements: Must live full time in Dawson County along with the child or children you are applying for assistance for and the child or children must live with you; if your child or children are school aged, they must attend Dawson County Schools; your child or children must be school age or younger; you must not receive assistance from any other agency for this Christmas season.
