Lanier Islands to open RV Resort, hopes to move forward with convention center

Lanier Islands never stops looking toward the future. Grier Todd, vice president of Lake Lanier Islands, announced during a South Hall Business Coalition meeting on Jan. 15 that this past year has proved successful through the recent partnership with Margaritaville developer Safe Harbor Development. Todd said people can expect to see the opening of Margaritaville at Lanier Islands’ RV Resort this spring. Construction for the RV Resort began in June 2018 and is expected to reach completion by April.
