Update: Dawson County teenager sentenced as an adult for several serious crimes

Dawson County teen Denem Sweazey was again arrested on March 21, 2024 after being indicted on a charge of misdemeanor stalking, in addition to the other criminal charges against him.
A Dawson County teenager will now have to serve multiple years in prison and decades of court-ordered supervision as part of his sentence for aggravated assault and other serious 2023 crimes.
