Authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding a motorcyclist last seen over two months ago following a wreck in western Dawson County.
The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office posted a missing person alert for 55-year-old Emmett Brown, according to a recent Facebook post from the agency.
Brown was last seen riding a red motorcycle and wearing black pants, a black jacket, black backpack and a black helmet, the PCSO post stated.
He had a motorcycle accident along the Dawson County portion of Highway 136 on Nov. 9, 2024, near the Burnt Mountain area. Georgia State Patrol worked the crash, Dawson County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Matthew Blackstock confirmed.
"Witnesses say that he was asking for a ride, so I was posting here to see if anyone knows any word on if he was picked up,” one of his daughters, Sara Ellis, wrote in a Facebook post.
People with information about Emmett Brown’s whereabouts are asked to contact the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office at 706-253-8900 or dial 911.
“Your help could make all the difference in bringing Emmett back home safely,” the PCSO post stated.
