While many of Dawson County’s newest first responders joined the public safety field to help people, others joined to continue a family legacy of service or seeking a change from retirement life. “Regardless of what brought us to this day, we all felt a calling that was bigger than ourselves...to make a difference and be more,” said firefighter/EMT Jordan Browning.
