Both lanes of Lumpkin Camp Ground Road South have now reopened, according to a June 24 Dawson County Government social media post.
"The construction crew is still out there working, so please use caution," the post stated.
Previously, the roadway was closed to traffic from Harry Sosebee to Whitmire Roads for utility work.
A previous county Facebook post clarified that Etowah Water and Sewer Authority is not a Dawson County government department and reminded community members about the multiple planned road improvement projects along the corridor tied to the one-percent transportation sales tax local voters approved in May.
DCN will continue to follow transportation topics in Dawson County.
