Bertie Lee Bottoms, 95, of Cumming, died Nov. 4, 2012.

Bertie loved her family and especially her grandchildren.

She enjoyed her garden also.

Her husband, the Rev. Broughton Bottoms; son, Grady Bottoms; great-grandson, Matthew Nolan; son-in-law, Hugh Hammond; parents, Oscar and Cora McBrayer; brother, Hoyt McBrayer; and a sister, Willie McBrayer, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Tommy and Joan Bottoms, Harold and Rose Mary Bottoms, Martha Hammond, Mary and D.C. Nolan; sisters, Edna Wheeler, Haze McBrayer; nine grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 7 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Dennis Bottoms, Robert Martin, Alan Dixon and Tommy Estes officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Nov. 7.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Megan and Pete Fowler in the care of Gina Deal.
