Billie Sue Stinnett, 69, of Dawsonville, died Monday, June 8, 2009.

Mrs. Stinnett lived in Dawson County for the past 23 years, having moved from Rome, Ga. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Stinnett.

Survivors include her children, Lawrence D. Cordell of Dawsonville, Suzanne and Michael Lowe of Hogansville; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 11 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Owens officiating.

Interment followed in the Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.
