Caryl White Maisel, 69, of Dawsonville, died July 28, 2015.
Born in New York, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Stamford White and Virginia Gluck.
Caryl, also known as Mimi and Mema Caryl to her grandchildren, loved her family more than anything.
She was always there to lend a helping hand, provide a hug or deliver something fresh-cooked from her kitchen.
She was a mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and dear friend.
Caryl loved so many things, but none more than spending time with her family, and no matter how many times a day of week that you would speak to her, she would never forget to say "I love you."
Survivors include her oldest son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Kimbrel Arculeo of Alpharetta; her youngest son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Stephanie Johnson of Dawsonville; sisters, Virginia Arnon of Seattle, Wash., Ruth Allen of Portland, Ore.; grandchildren, Ben and Emily Arculeo of Alpharetta, Reese, Karys and Landon Johnson of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.
A celebration of Caryl's life was held at 1:30 p.m. July 30 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home.
McDonald and Son Funeral Home of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
