Cleo Mills Payne, 86, of Cumming, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009.
She was a native of Forsyth County and a member of Cumming Congregational Holiness Church.
Her husband, Hershel Payne, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, J.B. and Jane Payne, Frances Waters, Retha and Doug Gunter, all of Cumming, Bertha Mae Goss of Pickens County, Preston and Juanita Payne, Jimmy Payne, all of Dawsonville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leamon Mills, Jake and Ann Mills, Teensie Mills, Agnes Mills, all of Cumming, Shirley and Jeanette Mills of Atlanta, Sherman and Shirley Mills of Marietta; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Lewis Payne of Cumming; sister-in-law, Maureen Payne of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 18 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. LeRoy Blackwell, Jimmy Payne and Stephen Davis officiating.
Interment followed at Coal Mountain Cemetery in Cumming.
Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
