David Allen Welch, 56, of Dawsonville, died Sept. 1, 2018. He was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Church in Dawsonville where he served as an Elder of the Church. David was a loving husband and father who loved helping others, sailing and had a special affection for stray cats. He was an exceptional pizza cook and even had one of his specialty pizzas featured in a Kansas Pizzeria. His father, Robert Nelson Welch, preceded him in death.
