Donald Anthony Cottongim, 82, died Jan. 16, 2017.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Martha; three children, Dennis, Marian and Paul; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Hurley; brother, John Cottongim; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 21 at Cornerstone Christian Church at 236 Etowah River Road, Dawsonville. Cremated remains will be buried beside his parents, William P. and Leila M. Cottongim at Hillcrest Cemetery in East Point in a private family ceremony. Date and time will be determined later.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
