Doris Harvey, 69, of Dawsonville, died Aug. 18, 2012.

Mrs. Harvey was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed collecting dolls.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Harvey of Dawsonville; children, Germain (Bryan Martin) Harvey and Walter Harvey, both of Dawsonville; siblings, Jackie Stringer of Alpharetta, Mildred Shipman of Jasper, Mark Gable of Tate; two grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Aug. 21 at Sosebee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Shipman officiating. Interment followed in Landmark Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to Sosebee Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

Sosebee Funeral Home of Canton was in charge of the arrangements.
