Dorothy Faye "Sue" Thurmond, 64, of Foley, Alabama, died Nov. 10, 2010.

Born June 6, 1946 in Lumpkin County, she was formerly employed by Worldwide and enjoyed cutting hair and creating floral arrangements.

Her father, Willie Wilson; son, James Thurmond; and brothers, George Wilson, James Wilson and Bill Wilson, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Thurmond of Dawsonville; son, William Thurmond of Dawsonville; mother, Ollie Wilson of Robertsdale, Ala.; sister, Bernice Burt, Foley, Ala.; brothers and sister-in-law, Charlie and Gloria Wilson of Gainesville, Roy Wilson of Culthbert; two grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 21 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Ray Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
