Elmer "Bud" Anglin, 80, died Dec. 30, 2011.
Mr. Anglin was born Oct. 20, 1931 in Hamilton, Ala. to the late Mark and Flora Anglin. His main residence was in Adrian, Mich., but he spent much of his time in Brethren, Mich., as well as Scottsboro, Ala.
He retired from American Chain and Cable in Adrian, Mich., after 35 years of service, was a U.S. Army veteran and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
His daughter, Sherrie Carter and several brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Briana Anglin of Dawsonville; daughters and son-in-law, Pat Anglin Carney of Adrian, Mich., Tracy and Robert Seymore of Florida; sisters and brother-in-law, Norma Dunn of Scottsboro, Ala., Carole and Ed Matthews of Kinta, Okla.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 2 at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.
Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
