Eva Satterfield Taylor, 78, of Wingate, N.C., died Wednesday, July 29, 2009.

  

Mrs. Taylor was born May 25, 1931 in White County, Georgia to the late Marvin and Mary Allen Satterfield.

  

She had lived in North Carolina for the past 28 years, having moved from South Carolina. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Monroe, N.C.

  

Survivors include her husband, the Rev. William J. "Bill" Taylor of Wingate, N.C.; daughters and son-in-law, Diane T. Ingram of Indian Trail, N.C., Robin T. and the Rev. Rick Bowers of Denver, Colo.; grandchildren, Nathan Winburn, Matthew Bowers, Erin and Jason Nelson, Ashton Bowers; great-grandchildren, Evan, Lana and Garrett Nelson; brother, Ray Satterfield of Gainesville; niece, Connie Braselton of Flowery Branch; sister-in-law, Betty Gober of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8 at Liberty Baptist Church with Mr. Joe Haskett officiating.

  

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

  

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6 at Grace Baptist Church in Monroe, N.C. and from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7 at Bearden Funeral Home in Dawsonville.
