Hoyt C. Flanagan Sr., 71, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 20, 2015.

He retired from Mullins Brothers Paving, where he worked for more than 30 years.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Linda Flanagan; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Sheree Flanagan; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Shannon Adams, all of Dawsonville; grandchildren, James Derrick of Dahlonega, Tiffany Benfield, Dylan Adams, Ashleigh Flanagan, all of Dawsonville; great-grandson, Jayden Benfield of Dawsonville; sisters, Margaret and Larry Douglas of Oakwood, Wilma Peters; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Oct. 24 in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
