Ida Mae Simonds, 89, of Cumming, died Monday, July 6, 2009.

  

Her husband, Thurmon Simonds; son, J.B. Simonds; daughter and son-in-law, Lona and Taylor Grant, preceded her in death.

  

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Bobby and Cloys Hyde, Dorothy Little, Sue and Ricky Anderson, Bernice and Mark Mullins, all of Cumming, Ann and George Kerns of Dahlonega, Joyce Hinton, Jean and Bob White, all of Gainesville, Ruby and James Hall of Dawsonville; sons and daughters-in-law, James Simonds, Jerry and Joan Simonds, Jackie and Sherry Simonds, J.C. and Gwen Simonds, Ricky and Dorothy Simonds, all of Cumming; 46 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 8 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ruel Martin officiating.

  

Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

  

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the hour of service, Wednesday.
