James Lee Tucker, 46, of Dahlonega, died Aug. 15, 2011.

He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Tucker of Dahlonega; father, Gerald Tucker of Athens; mother, Joyce Chadwick of Jefferson; stepchildren, Peggy Smothers of Guyton, Lorie Ward of Cornelia; sisters, Deborah Smith of Lawrenceville, Teresa Hand of Dahlonega, April McCallister of Jefferson; brothers, Wesley Chambers, Michael Chambers, both of Jefferson; seven grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Aug. 21 at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lee Gaddis officiating.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
