Janie C. Bell, 63, of Lumpkin County, died Aug. 10, 2013.

She was a lifelong member of New Harmony Baptist Church and loved singing, her church, cooking, babysitting, watching birds and flowers.

Janie was a great mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She loved everyone she met and everyone she met loved her.

Her husband, Frankie Bell; and parents, Rual and Alice Cox, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Bobby Lutz of Free Home; sons, Chris Bell and Jonathan Daniel Bell, both of Dahlonega; grandson, Trevor Joseph Lutz; brothers and sister, Joe Cox of Ball Ground, Jimmy Cox of Canton, Lottie Bell of Free Home; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 14, at New Harmony Baptist Church with the Revs. Johnny Purcell, Danny Orr and Clyde Boling officiating. Interment will follow in Auraria Community Cemetery in Lumpkin County. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Aug. 14, at Ingram Funeral Home.
