Jason Matthew Graves, 38, of Scottsville, Ky. died July 30, 2014.
A native of Gainesville, he was a building contractor and attended Cross Wins Church where he was a vital musician and praise team member.
Survivors include his sons, Jarius Graves, Smiths Grove, Ky., Mario Graves (Hillary Carver), Scottsville, Ky.; daughter, Destiny Smith, Smiths Grove, Ky.; father, Matt Graves and his wife, Terri, Scottsville, Ky.; mother Lavonne Ingram Disharoon and her husband, Curtis, Dawsonville; paternal grandmother, Reathel Lovelace, Scottsville, Ky.; brothers, Jon Graves and his wife, Sarah, Monroe, Ga., Jamison Graves, Scottsville, Ky.; sister, Angela Morris and her husband, Chris, Dawsonville, Ga.; grandchildren, Jacob Graves, Jaylen Graves; a stepbrother; several stepsisters; aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces; nephews; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were Aug. 2 at Cross Wins Church with Bro. Ron Graves officiating. Interment was held in Walkers Chapel Cemetery.
Memorial services were held Aug. 3 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Dawsonville.
Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
