Jimmie Edward Collins, 67, a native of Forsyth County, died Friday, July 10, 2009.

  

Mr. Collins was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and was employed by the Forsyth County Board of Education as the head custodian at Forsyth Central High School.

  

He was a mason of Mt. Zion Lodge #316 F&AM.

  

His parents, Willard and Bertie Lee Collins; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Evelyn Collins; and, brother, the Rev. Doug Collins, preceded him in death.

  

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Collins of Cumming; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Kenneth Garner, Tracy and Andrew Rodriguez, all of Cumming; stepsons, Scotty and Bryan Seay of Dawsonville; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Donald Ramey of Dawsonville; sister-in-law, Dorothy Collins of Cumming; grandchildren, Melissa Garner, Andrew Garner and Nina Rodriguez, all of Cumming; step-grandchildren, Eric Seay and Heather Seay of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday, July 13 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ruel Martin and Tim Biddy officiating. Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens with full Masonic honors.

  

Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
