Karen Elaine Smith, 61, of Dawsonville, died March 13, 2019. She was born to the late Jack Alfred and Mary Jane Kilgore. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved to spend time with her grandchildren and family. Her brother, Marshall Kilgore; and sister, Deborah Chastian, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Robert H. Smith of Dawsonville; children, Corey and Chelsea Harper of Dawsonville, Josh Harper of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Gracey, Jesse, Emma and Abigale; brother, Casey and Kim Kilgore of Waleska; sister, Susan and Walker Shealy of Marble Hill; various friends; various other relatives also survive.
