Kathryn Day Free, 79, of Cumming, died April 2, 2011.

 

Her husband of 63 years, Clayton Free, preceded her in death.

 

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Marie Free of Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Ron Bennett of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Ken Townley of Cumming; grandchildren, Phillip Bennett, Nick Wilbanks, Jill Wilbanks, Krystle and Philip Lyerly, Chase Wilbanks, Clay Free, Crystal Hanson, Katie and Robert Dean, Joey and Brandy Bennett, Melissa Driggers; great-grandson, Jackson Driggers; great-granddaughter, Avery Lyerly; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mack and Norene Day of Clairmont, David Day of Gainesville; sisters and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Bruce of Gainesville, Lillie Mae and Bobby Reid of Cumming; brother-in-law, Robert Free of Cumming; sister-in-law, Ethel Sosebee of Blue Ridge; various other relatives also survive.

 

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. April 5 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Rodney Pilcher and Edwin Terry officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

 

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
