Kathy Born, 50, of Cumming, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009.

Her parents, William and Annie McKenzie; and daughter, Alicia Born, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Jackie Born of Gainesville; son, Jack Born of Cumming; sisters and brother-in-law, Gloria and Keith Yearwood of Cumming, Samantha Adams of Buford; brothers and sister-in-law, Ricky McKenzie of Cumming, Tony and Angela Shirley of Dawsonville; stepmother, Melba Hatton of Buford; various other relatives also survive.

Graveside services were 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31 at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Shake Rag with the Rev. Albert Kyle officiating.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
