Kenneth Bowen, 62, of Cartersville, died Sept. 8, 2013.

Born Aug. 2, 1951, Kenneth was a native of Gwinnett County, but lived most of his life in Rome and Cartersville.

His mother, Lillian Donahue, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Gravitt of Ball Ground, Amy and Stanley Ayers of Dawsonville; brother, Danny McDaniel of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sept. 10, in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Harold Evans and Danny Evans officiating. Interment followed in Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Alpharetta.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
