Kenneth Eddie Reed, 66, of Dawsonville, died Aug. 10, 2015.
Born Feb. 15, 1948, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County.
Kenneth was a retired truck driver and member of Amicalola Baptist Church.
A dedicated husband, father and grandfather, his sons, Bo Reed and Jerry Reed; and father, Gus Reed, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Sherry Reed of Dawsonville; children, Kathy and Wayne Lipham of Cumming, Patsy Hurst, Kevin and Teresa Reed, Michele and Alex Morales, all of Dawsonville; mother, Eunice Reed of Dawsonville; sister, Sherry Phillips of Dawsonville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Donna Reed, Ronnie Reed, Ricky and Kelly Reed, all of Dawsonville; 15 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Aug. 14 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Browning officiating. Interment followed in the Amicalola Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to assist the family with final expenses.
Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
