Laura Looper, 101, of Cumming, died Friday, Jan. 22, 2010.

She was the oldest member of Friendship Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Felton Looper and her daughter, Audrey Wright.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Warren and Eddie Looper of Dahlonega, Gary and Robin Looper of Cumming; daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth Sutton and fiancé David Fordham, Janie Cox, Barbara and Glenn Mullinax, all of Cumming, Herb Sams of Canton; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 24 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Bud Sutton and Eddie Cain officiating. Entombment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
