Lawrence A. Holtzclaw, 74, of Cumming, died May 4, 2011.

He was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church.

His parents, Grady D. Holtzclaw and Janette Mincey Holtzclaw, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, David A. (Tony) and Karla E. Holtzclaw of Cumming, Tanya L. and Todd Fowler of Dawsonville; three grandchildren, Justin Holtzclaw, Jordan Holtzclaw, Emily Martin; great-grandchild, Avery Martin; Kay Dameron, Tabitha, Brinn, Bishop, Azen, Brian, Andy; mother of his children, Joyce Holtzclaw; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. May 7 at Coal Mountain Baptist Church with the Revs. Danny Bennett, Larry Vaughan and Jerry Frazier officiating.

Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
