Marion Gleeson Perry, 94, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 29, 2016.
Born Jan. 3, 1922 to the late Clifford and Georgie Gleeson, Marion had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past 15 years. She had also lived a number of years in the Stone Mountain area and Woodstock.
Affectionately known as Maw Maw, she was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who worked extremely hard for her family.
Marion was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
Her husband, the Rev. James H. Perry; son, Gary R. Perry; brothers, J.C. Gleeson, George Gleeson; sisters, Fleasha Maddox, Wilhelmenia Martin, Joyce Anderson; great-grandson, Andrew Perry, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Lanier and Betty Perry of McDonough, Ronald Perry of Royston; daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Mike Brandt of Dawsonville; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Myrtice Bass Gleeson of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Dec. 31 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lawrence Clark officiating. Interment followed at 2 p.m. in the Holly Springs Cemetery in Marietta.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
