Martha Sue Martin, 79, died Sept. 5, 2015.

A simple and sweet lady, Martha Sue was a life-long member of Salem Baptist Church.

Her husband, Ivan Martin; son, Dwight Martin; and parents, William Everett "Bill" and Beulah Mae Smith Parks, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Stacey Evans of Gainesville; two grandsons, C.J. and Noah Evans; a brother-in-law, Harley Walls of Silver City; sister-in-law, JoAnn Martin of Chestatee; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Donnie Nix and Keith Martin officiating. Interment followed at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
