Mary Verline Tatum Sellers, 74, of Dawsonville, died July 12, 2011.

Mrs. Sellers was born Nov. 11, 1936 to the late E.L. and Ina Mae Tatum.

She was a lifelong resident of Dawson County and a member of McKee's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Sellers was a devoted and loving daughter, mother and grandmother.

Her husband, Ronnie Sellers, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Darren and Melissa Sellers of Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Marla and Bradley Gillespie of Gainesville; grandchildren, Joshua Sellers, Russel Gillespie, Caleb Sellers, Rylee Gillespie; brothers and sisters-in-law, W.L. and Ruby Nell Tatum, Hayne and Lois Tatum, all of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. July 15 at McKee's Chapel United Methodist Church. Interment followed in the McKee's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
