Mildred Bailey, 79, of Cumming, died Oct. 17, 2013.

She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Mildred was a loving mother, grandmother and a sweetheart to everyone.

Her husband, Raymond Bailey; her parents, Brass and Annie Day; granddaughter, Jodi Hendrix; brothers, James Day and Winford Day; and sisters, Marie Terry and Ina Mae Chumbler, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Larry Bailey, Lamar "DA" Bailey, Danny and Peggy Bailey, Dennis "Red" and Kathy Bailey, Joy and Danny Hyde and Penny Bailey; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Guy and Ann Day Jr.; sister-in-law, Elizabeth "Lib" Day; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Oct. 20 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Garry English, Dennis Bottoms and Ruel Martin officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
