Pearl Gardner, 89, died April 11, 2010 in Brooksville, Fla.

Born in Illinois, she had also lived in Dahlonega and Dawsonville.

While in Dawsonville, Pearl was a member of Christ Redeemer Catholic Church and enjoyed the company of many "Red Hats" club members.

Her husband, Frank; daughter, Margie Hackney; sister, Virginia Crouse; and brother, Lou Stastny, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Paulette Lovero of Spring Hill, Fla.; son, Frank Gardner of Cumming; two grandchildren, Julie Lovero-Fox and Nick Lovero; two great-grandchildren, Nickolas Lovero and Nicole Lovero; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services have not been set.
