Randall "Hotrod" Martin, 57, of Cumming, died Aug. 21, 2016.
Born Nov. 29, 1958, he was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County.
Mr. Martin was a forklift operator for Westrock and was a member of Settingdown Baptist Church.
Known for his unmistakable laugh, Hotrod enjoyed life, spending time with his family and friends, fishing and working on cars.
His wife, Georgianna Daniel Martin; father, Egbert "Chick" Martin; brothers, Donald Martin, Jimmy Martin and Willard Martin, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Heath and Nikki Martin, Dillon and Lyric Martin, all of Dawsonville; mother, Geneva Hammond of Cumming; grandchildren, Easton Martin, Harper Martin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Deborah and Randall Woody, Linda and George Garbutt, Ojuana Smith, all of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Danny Ray and Barbara Martin of Cumming; several half-sisters and brothers; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 24 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Danny Ray Martin, Randall Woody and Ruel Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour.
