Randy S. Jones, 51, of Marble Hill, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009.

Born Dec. 8, 1957 in Fulton County, he lived in Dawson County for the past 14 years, having moved from Alpharetta.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Jones of Marble Hill; children, David Duncan of Marble Hill, John Duncan of Rome, Stephanie Dowdy of Dawsonville; parents, Steve and Faye Jones of Ball Ground; sisters, Becky Howington of Westminster, S.C., Renee Olson of Decatur, Texas; brothers, Paul Jones, Danny Jones, both of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Dawson Duncan, Noah Duncan, Maggie Dowdy; various other relatives also survive.

The family received friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18 at the funeral home.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
