Rickey Abercrombie, 45, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 15, 2010.

Mr. Abercrombie was born Sept. 27, 1965 to the late George and Ruby Abercrombie.

He was a native of Lumpkin County, but lived most of his life in Dawson County.

He was of the Baptist faith.

His sister, Brenda Sears; and a brother, David Abercrombie, also preceded him in death.

Survivors include his sisters and brothers-in-law, Bobbie and Jim Ivey, Faye and Charles Gardner, all of Dawsonville, Annie and David Meredith of Palm Bay, Fla.; special friend, Alex Simerly of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 18 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Corey Ray officiating. Interment followed in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
