Ronald (Ron) Eugene Storey of Griffin died Feb. 27, 2019. Ron was born on Dec. 25, 1944 in Griffin to Charles Johnson Storey, Jr. and Cathon Pitts Storey. After attending Griffin High School, he entered the U.S. Army where he served in the First Calvary Division as a Forward Observer in Korea. He then returned home to begin his 34-year career as an aircraft mechanic and supervisor for Delta Air Lines. He married Deborah Tatum in 1967 and they remained together for the rest of his life. They had two children, Audrey and Jason. Ron was an avid sports fan, an unbelievable cook, gardener and a lover of life. He loved to entertain and found great joy in being with others. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Cumming where he served as a deacon, tireless volunteer and choir member.
