Roy Ludon Rockmore, 76, of Cumming, died Nov. 4, 2016.

He was a member of Longstreet Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon since 1979.

He loved seeing God and his church family and he enjoyed maintaining the church grounds and building. He loved his grandkids, hunting and fishing.

His parents, Kermit and Annie Rockmore, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Nov. 6 at Longstreet Baptist Church with the Revs. Doug Carnes, Bobby Padgett and Taylor Caylor officiating. Interment followed in the Longstreet Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to Longstreet Baptist Church Maintenance Fund, c/o T. Cody Sweat, 1100 Howard Road, Alpharetta, GA 30004.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
