Sara Nannette "Nan" Knowles, 63, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 25, 2017.

Born March 19, 1953 in Rockdale County to the late Robert Lewis and Aileen Young, she had lived in Dawson Count for the past 31 years.

Her son, Kimothy L. "Kim" Young; and brother, Ronald Lewis Young, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Shawn A. Young of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; sisters, Kathy Whisnant of Conyers, Jenny Schleifer of Killen, Ala.; brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Obie Young of Conyers; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Feb. 4 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. Feb. 4.
