Shelby Jean Frady

Shelby Jean Frady, 71, of Dawsonville, died May 1, 2011.

 

Born Feb. 7, 1940 in Steele, Ala. to the late Charles and Velma Wood, she had lived in Dawson County for the past 29 years, having moved from Forsyth County.

 

For many years, Mrs. Frady worked as a clerk in several convenience stores and retired from Circle M in Hall County.

 

She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

 

Survivors include her husband, Uvon Frady of Dawsonville; children, Jim Wilkins, Dana Benners, both of Gainesville, Kevin Brian Vollrath of Cleveland; sister, Margaret Wilson of Marble Hill; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; various other relatives also survive.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. May 4 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark Biddy officiating. Interment will follow in the Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

 

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
